Urgent Indicator for ETA and ETD
Stay is enhanced to notify users of upcoming arrivals and departures of guests by displaying an urgency indicator for reservations when a threshold time is reached. This feature allows properties to improve guest experience by having the front desk personnel attend to guests (on priority) who are about to arrive and depart. Users can configure a threshold time before the estimated time of arrival or departure of a guest.
This feature will be available only when the Estimated Time of Arrival/Departure feature setting is enabled.
An urgency indicator will be displayed for all reservations that fall in this time frame in the following screens:

Batch Operations - Settle & Check Out

Housekeeping - Print
This will be displayed for the reservations in these screens only when the set threshold time is reached. The indicator will continue to be displayed until the guest checks in or checks out from the property.
For example, if the indicator is set for 1 hour before ETA (2:00 PM), when the property time reaches 1:00 PM, this indicator will be shown. If the guest checks in at 1:30PM, the indicator will not be displayed after 1:30 PM.
To support this feature, the following changes have been made:

A new field, Indicate Urgent Arrivals/Departures, is added in the Property section in the Property Setup screen (Settings ➜ All Settings ➜ General ➜ Property, Buildings & Outlets) that allows users to set the threshold time.

Reservation Search Screen: Two new sort options, Estimated Time of Arrival and Estimated Time of Departure are added. A new filter, Urgent, is added with the following options:

Arrivals - shows reservations with ETA priority indicator

Departures - shows reservations with ETD priority indicator

Tape Chart: the following filter options are provided as part of the filter drop-down list:

The following filter options are added to the top-right corner of the tape chart Tape Chart screen:

Display Urgent Arrivals: shows reservations with ETA priority indicator

Display Urgent Departures: shows reservations with ETD priority indicator

Batch Operations - Check In: A new column, ETA, is introduced. This column displays the estimated time of arrival for a reservation and the urgency indicator, if active. A new filter, Urgent Arrivals, is added. When selected, the reservations with ETA priority are displayed.

Batch Operations - Settle and Checkout: A new column, ETD, is introduced. This column displays the estimated time of departure for a reservation and the urgency indicator, if active.

Housekeeping Print: The urgency indicator will be printed along with the ETA and ETD for a reservation.
Currently, the urgency indicator is not displayed when the threshold time for ETD is reached for a shared reservation, where one of the reservations in share has departed.
